Hello Everyone,

What a wonderful life I have.
I start by waking every morning on a soft down comforter.
If it is cold out, I’ll be snuggled up in between my human mom and dad.
If it is warm, I’ll wait at the foot of the bed until I notice that one of them is awake.

I’ll let out a half chirp, half purr and position myself to get my head scratched. Then it’s time to get up for breakfast. I get real yogurt and some kitty cookies and then it’s off I go to find a sunny spot for a long nap while my parents clean my litter box. Soon it’s time for dinner and then I get to be ...

昨年末のクリスマス休暇を利用して家族でラスベガスとグランドキャニオンを車で回ってきました。

合計2,000kmの車の旅ですが、アメリカ全土の地図で見ると大陸の西側の近所をちょこっと走った程度ですねぇ。
やっぱ広いわ、アメリカはと体感した次第。

さて、グランドキャニオンへは、近くのWilliamsという町に車を置いて、Grand Canyon Railwayという鉄道を利用して南側の崖っぷちまで行きました。

この列車、途中で西部劇の格好をしてギターを持った流しのおっさんが乗客とともに陽気に歌を歌ったり、途中で列車をわざわざ停車させてギャングが客車に乗り込んで来たかのようにして車内で乗客を脅かしたり後から保安官が追いかけてくるといったパフォーマンスをやったりと、片道2時間半の旅を退屈させないよう趣向を凝らしていました。

グランドキャニオンは氷点下7度の快晴、立体感があって見る位置や光の角度の変化でどんどん表情を変えて全く見飽きません ...

This is quite interesting year to me...

At first, I've got married!!! The wedding was a great experience to me, I've never had such a great day in my life. I thank to all the families and friends to celebrate our special day...

Second, I love to drive fast, play golf and enjoy nice wines. But I have already quit doing two of those. I could not imagine I can quit golfing and drinking wine!!! As you can imagine, YES, I am pregnant now and expecting a baby girl in January. 

The people who's reading this blog is wondering "what about the last thing to quit?"...

I received a card from my son (5yrs old) living in Japan.

It is a kind of handcrafted one and everything I like is drawn.
A mug of beer, edamame, sushi, watermelon, etc..

Actually, now I am living in LA without my family but
they are coming to here tomorrow.
Our life in LA will start soon.

先週のビッグベアに続きバイク仲間とツーリングに行ってきました。
目的地はバクダットカフェ。
１９８０年代の映画のロケに使われたそうです。

さて、バクダットカフェはサウスベイからは片道１５０マイル程度の距離で９１番に乗り６０５を北上し２１０番で東に行き１５番を北、４０番に乗り換えて、Ｒｏｕｔｅ ６６で暫く行った所です。カフェの食事は普通でしたが映画に興味の有る人は是非行ってみてください。

JAL Avionet USA was proud to again participate at this years
annual JBA softball tournament.
Our final record was 1 win and 1 loss.
Seems not too bad...
except for the fact that we received a 'bye' the first game,
and we lost the second game 44 to 6
(yes, we played softball, not football).

Maybe there is something to say about practice.
Anyways, we all had a good time, and the company treated us to a nice
meal at Sea Empress.

先日山へハイキングに行ってきました。
ハイキング途中、巨大な松ぼっくりを発見しました。
巨大松ぼっくりは、いたる所にゴロゴロしていました。

そんな中に、見慣れたサイズの松ぼっくりも混ざっていたので、写真を撮ってみました。
巨大な松ぼっくりは、巨大なだけあって、ずっしりと重たかったです。
